Race4Good takes the brightest and most motivated students and forms them into vibrant teams with business leaders to help solve the world’s most critical social and environmental problems. A fast-paced, online race format, teams are given a specific number of days or weeks to research real-life issues facing a carefully-chosen community and challenged to develop business plans to provide sustainable economic uplift. The Race4Good brings the frontline to the classroom and the boardroom.

Designed to involve students from every student year, the race provides numerous opportunities for individuals to contribute their skills, passion, and expertise. Successful teams draw on the wide range of talents and interests found within the university or school and channel these into tackling a diverse range of real-life challenges. By being immersed in real-life content, students are able to discover, develop, and embed a wide range of skills – including team building, strategic thinking, research, business planning, critical analysis, public speaking, observation, empathy, and compassion.

As they compete against other teams, students receive ongoing support from international business leaders and Race4Good Operations Managers, who provide vital training, mentoring, support, and guidance. The winning solutions from each round are implemented within a few days, allowing students and business mentors to see the immediate impact of their work before progressing to the next level.
